Next on the agenda

I don't want this blog to become a sales pitch. It's purpose is to document my journey in ceramics, hopefully engender constructive discussion, explore inspirational avenues and exercise my critical writing.

But ... uh oh ... it is that time of year ... oh dear ... and selling is a fairly essential part of the journey ... here it comes ... so I just want to say ... ahem ... that on Sunday I am taking part in a Christmas market ... phew that wasn't so bad ... and if you would like to come along here are the details.

11am to 8pm
Sunday 13 December
Arts House, Meat Market
5 Blackwood Street
North Melbourne

They say "The Arts House Meat Market pavilion will be transformed into a vibrant Christmas market. With 80 stalls from talented local designers showcasing handmade arts, crafts, homewares and fashion, it’s the perfect place to find unique Christmas gifts. Plus, there’ll be food stalls, kids’ activities and live music – and none of the madness of a shopping centre at Christmas!"

No apologies and no doubt about it, it's a sales pitch, but I think it might be fun.

Hi Sophie,
It was lovely meeting you at the Meat Market on Sunday and thanks for your company throughout the day! I love my ceramic beakers I bought from you and I am shortly off to enjoy a cup of tea from one of them :-)
On the way home from the market Darren pointed out the ceramic insulators on the power poles for me - he he! Your work is very lovely and I'm sure I'll purchase some more items in future - they make lovely gifts. Thank you Lucy x
