Because I really like them.

A six year old stopped me, in the midst of my studio sale last Saturday and, with a concerned face, asked why there were power poles on my pots. I dallied with the idea of reciting my artist statement but thought it best to simply reply "because I really like them". His little nod suggested this was explanation enough.

With that thought in mind, here is a preview of a new collection I like to call 'Crossing Vessels'. Porcelain dishes and pourers that will be appearing soon at SMALLpieces.

Well... you know.... all work and no play...

Thanks to all who visited my studio last Saturday. I had a wonderful afternoon and appreciate all the positive and interesting responses to my work. Still working off (through) those lamingtons though!
