Experiencing technical difficulties

So I do 100 posts and then my camera promptly breaks - spooky. If you have read previous posts you will know it does not please me to let go of my tools. No, not happy, but at least I now know what to ask of Santa.

Until Santa delivers (I think I've been good but I do have a bad memory) I will have to litter my posts with images of other peoples work.

Lucie Rie, my hero. Her work is unassuming, functional and makes the complex look so simple. Anything I have read about her gives the impression that she was just really into her work. No big noting or networking or even self promoting. She just really liked making pots.

She is the only potter whose work has moved me to tears. (And embarrassingly that was just seeing it on tele!) Not the kind of work you need to analyse or intellectualise. But boy I would really like to use it.

Wouldn't it be lovely to be able to handle a piece of her work.
