Even Finn, who I have to admit is not a big fan of ceramics,had a great time.
The lovely Vicki Grima,editor of The Journal of Australian Ceramics,
traveled south to take part
and spread her enthusiasm for all things ceramic.
and the beautiful pure forms of Elizabeth Masters.But it was a trio of Sandra Bowkett's delicately pinched bowls that made the journey home with me. When I capture them well in a photo I shall share, but for now they are happily hopping from mantle piece, to table, to bookcase in the search for just the right spot.

I, too, took home 2 of Sandra's bowls - one wood-fired. A jug by Elizabeth adorns my kitchen shelf after our trip to France last year. The simplicity of their form is very special and they pour beautifully - such a pleasure to use.
I also had a great time at Pottery Expo. It was great to meet so many people. Here's to Jane for her efforts in organising it for the last 9 years.
