I am taking part in the Pottery Expo at Federation Square. It is on this Sunday 5 Dec in the Atrium (that's it above) from 10am to 5.30pm.
There will be 40 ceramic artists taking part as well as demonstration and activities. I am looking forward to catching up with some folk (and most likely spending any potential takings on works by other artists!)
I am also looking forward to see The Matchbox Show, a large collection of ceramic art in matchboxes. It is worth a visit to this project's website gallery. Some fantastic ideas and interpretations on the theme. A couple of my personal favorites are Vipoo Srivilasa's vision of the iconic Redhead and Chris Keane's matchbox car.Please do say hello if you are passing by this Sunday.
